@cdarwin Tear gas and ALL gas weapons are outlawed by international treaty. Use of them is a war crime.
Their use by the police, ICE, or any other agency of the United States government or any of its constituent states should be absolutely illegal. Every state should outlaw them, and pass laws to enable victims of gas warfare by the government to take civil action against not only the guilty governments and agencies, but against the pensions of those who do or authorize the gassing, as well as those who refuse to investigate such incidents.
That, on top of criminal penalties.
