Cámara compacta Canon SX730HS. Sin filtros. Con un ligero ajuste del contraste en el teléfono.

I need some help tips or support.
My Thinkpad Carbon X1 7th gen has since a few days a flickering backlight,
not the full range, just in the middle part vertically around 4cm or less.
The external display is fine, so I rendered out the driver on CachOS / Arch.
It runs wayland and MangoWCAny tips besides replacing the screen? How to check the backlight and maybe repair it?
I booted Linux Mint live, same issue so it is not a driver issue. -

I was waiting on Henry Street and spotted the deep shadows cast by the buildings, so it occurred to me that silhouettes would become a good subject for a photo.
