"ACTION IN SOLIDARITY WITH GINO AND MAJA! TO THE STREETS ON THE 30TH SEPTEMBER!

On 30 September, our comrade Gino is due to stand trial – a French court is set to make a final decision on whether the anti-fascist will be extradited to Germany. Last year, the German state issued a European arrest warrant against Gino, accusing him of attacking “German citizens” in Budapest in February 2023. Gino faces a ten-year prison sentence. The arrest warrant against Gino was issued relatively soon after the French state’s decision not to extradite him to Hungary, where he would have faced a 24-year prison sentence. The Federal Republic of Germany has joined the Hungarian state’s witch-hunt against militant anti-fascists and is continuing the persecution across national borders with this arrest warrant.

The non-binary anti-fascist Maja T. is currently in the midst of an appeal process – Maja is pleading for freedom, contrary to the eight-year prison sentence imposed on them at the start of the year. At the same time, the Hungarian public prosecutor’s office is seeking a harsher.

Whatever the outcome of the decisions on 30 September may be: as an anti-fascist movement, we must not allow ourselves to be paralysed by this scale of repression. Let us deliver a united response to the capitalist and imperialist states, which is: Not on our watch! Let us stand shoulder to shoulder against their repression and demand freedom for all political prisoners!"
