Made completely experimental pumpkin pie cookie bars today. Basically just mashed my roll-out cookie recipe and my pumpkin pie recipe together. Cooked WAY faster than expected (less than half the time it normally takes my actual pumpkin pies to bake) and they are definitely a touch overcooked, but still taste good.

Would make again, but make the cookie layer half the thickness. (So, will either cut the cookie recipe in half or just use half for the bars and turn the other half into cookies.)

I finished my latest cross-stitch project. I think it turned out adorable despite changing just about all the colors in the original pattern. Found another Halloween design I'm going to try before I get into the more complex patterns.
