Voilà j'ai sauté le pas, j'ai fait ma première game online de Age of Empires 4.

Bon sans surprise, j'ai lamentablement perdu. J'ai absolument rien pu faire.

C'était une partie de classement, donc j'espère que c'était juste quelqu'un de beaucoup plus fort et que ça ira mieux pour les prochaines.

When it comes to #RTS #games, only the #AgeOfEmpires series is actively supported and lively right now. Mainly #AOE2 and #AOE4. And don't even mention #Blizzard's #StarCraft 2. They said years ago that they stopped supporting it. No more content, funding or anything... meanwhile AOE2 keeps getting constant patching and DLCs even tho' the basegame is over 20 years old. Now that's commitment!

Been having fun with #aoe4 recently.

I've been a Mongol main since launch, and since the expansion, I've dabbled in Jean D'Arc and Byzantines.

It's particularly fun to be a super aggressive Byz player, because no one expects it.

I don't think there's anything so wholesome as the Age of Empires 4 pro-scene.

Here's world rank 1 Beastyqt jamming out to MarineLord (top 10) complaining about only getting 80 bounty despite having 3 scouts as Russia in a match.

#AOE3 was a hidden gem if you ask me. A black sheep oftentimes considered to be in the shadows of its predecessor, #AOE2.

I still think aoe2 is objectively better, but aoe3 is still a lot of fun and definitely worth checking out!

I actually liked it more than #AOE4.

@ImACultHero I guess I'm just surprised more than anything else. Generally when I see anything #Stellaris #Civ6 #CK3 #CitiesSkylines, I find it's generally safe to assume it's the PC (Steam specifically) version being played.

Although #AoE2 #AoE4 are definitely going to muddy those waters somewhat next year with their console versions coming out.
