I write because I write.
Because changing one mind is better than sitting on my arse.
Because even though I know intellectually that most of the people I need to reach don't read, or don't read often, and probably won't like my stuff anyway, I can't accept it emotionally.
Because I believe that one hand writing in an ever-increasing ai-obfuscating forest of dross can still be heard.
