@fabio Also due to these regulations I cannot buy antibiotic ointment when the Czech regime is depriving me of healthcare when I have an infected eczema and am afraid it will produce sepsis and I die, because antibiotic ointment ran out and when I call a dermatologist and tell I need it urgently she gives me an appointment 4 months (!!!) in the future!
In a corrupt developing 3rd world dictatorship Cambodia it is possible to buy antibiotic ointments without prescription and also dermatologist wait there is only 7-10 days, not 4 months.

Researchers from #Germany have isolated a novel #antibiotic named saarvienin A. The glycopeptide was obtained from an Amycolatopsis strain by Rolf Müller and his team and was described in the journal Angewandte Chemie. With a completely novel structure, it exhibits excellent antibiotic activity against Gram-positive bacteria and can overcome vancomycin resistance. However, cytotoxicity against eukaryotic cells has also been observed.

This enhances the efficacy of various classes of antibiotics by 32-512 fold, without inducing toxicity towards mammalian cells. The leading combination also disrupts mature multispecies biofilms composed of A. baumannii and methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus (MRSA), which is typically resistant to most antibiotics.

-I have to laugh at the 'ethical butcher' nomenclature, as it reminded me of 'humane slaughter'. #oxymoron
-It should be pointed out, because it wasn't directly stated in the news story, due perhaps to time constraints, but there is a reason that antibiotic use is so high and prevalent (60% of antibiotics used in Australia are for agriculture use - what a shocking amount!). And that is because animals, who are #sentient, conscious, and intelligent, are stuck in horrid conditions, surrounded by their own shit. 💩Thank you to #abcAustralia for showing the report that was commissioned by #AnimalsAustralia.
