Next up in my book pile -- " #NoSpiritualSurrender - Indigenous #Anarchy" by #KleeBenally, (2023) " #PrairieFire - The Politics of Revolutionary #AntiImperialism" by #TheWeatherUnderground (1974), and " #Antifa - The #AntiFascist Handbook" by #MarkBray (2017).

I've posted excerpts from Klee's book in the past (which I will re-boost). Both Klee and Mark Bray are in agreement as to who the real enemy is -- the forces of #Colonialism and #WhiteSupremacy.

Bray writes, "The only long-term solution to the fascist menace is to undermine its pillar of strength in society grounded not only in white supremacy, but also in #ableism, #heteronormativity, #patriarchy, #nationalism, #transphobia, #ClassRule, and many others," (Antifa, page 209), and offers up #Socialism, which is #Antiauthoritarian and #NonHierarchical as a solution.

And indeed, 1974's Prairie Fire, paints a similar picture, offering up a map of North America before and after #Colonization. (And yes, I would love to scan in all the illustrations and tables, but unfortunately, the 1974 copy is well-read and very delicate. It belonged to a coven-mate and fellow activist friend, who left it to me when they passed away -- along with a slew of other radical and pagan books). I did find some archived versions, sans illustrations, online.

Wir haben 2023 aber auch gesehen, wie sich trotz und wegen aller Umstände, schwerer Rückschläge, Widrigkeiten usw., Menschen weiter erheben , kämpfen, einander helfen und unterstützen.

Seien es die #Zapatistas, die sich neu organisieren müssen oder die Menschen in #Rojava, die weiter kämpfen; Seien es die Menschen, die während sie sich selbst immer größerer Repression ausgesetzt sehen, sich für Menschen auf der Flucht, in Kriegen und in anderen Notlagen einsetzen. Und Menschen, die sich selbst dafür in Notlagen begeben müssen.

Seien es die Menschen, die sich gegen Herrschaft und Repression engagieren, dafür Argumente und Ideen bereitstellen, große Treffen und kleine gegenseitige Hilfen gemeinsam organisieren. Und auch die Menschen, die dafür Wälder, Häuser oder Druckereien besetzen.

Und auch Alle, die über ihre eigenen Schatten springen können, die ihre eigenen Ängste bezwingen wollen, die repressive gesellschaftliche Konventionen überwinden und die inneren und äußeren Autoritäten herausfordern möchten.

Deshalb soll das ganze hier auch kein Rückblick sein. Sondern ein Dank und eine Erinnerung daran, dass es sich lohnt, weiter zu machen.

So, in context of having seen the #ShinyHappyPeople docuseries about Christian Nationalist group #IBLP, connecting that to Montana banning TikTok (a source of a lot of recovery communities and criticism of toxic Christianity, and the seed for that documentary), and Elon’s destruction of Twitter, then I’m looking over at happening to Reddit, which presently hosts the largest exmormon community online, (275,000 members, 1100 online right now), and these dots are starting to form a picture.

I’m not sure the Reddit thing is about money or IPO. It seems like part of a coordinated effort across the Internet to shut down anti-authoritarian movements.

Is anybody else talking about this?
