Not a #synthesizer but a #skateboard this time -- my new #Powell #AndyAnderson 8.45" 7-ply maple deck arrived yesterday after my morning park sesh, so I set it up and took it back to the park!
Verdict: I love everything about the intentional design of Andy's pro shape; the symmetrical nose/tail length, the well defined "pocket" areas, the shorter wheelbase, the weight-balancing / lever-forming contouring. I love that it's VERY engineered, not just a graphic slapped on a generic blank.
All in all, I felt like my riding (transition-focused) was more confident and comfortable, and found myself not only making more tricks but being able to consistently improve with each attempt.
Setup: Independent Stage 11 Forged Hollow 149, 54mm Spitfire Formula 4 Classic 99A, Super Reds, Mob Grip (swapping to 56mm F4 Conical Full 99A w/ Bones Swiss as soon as I am fully adjusted to this deck shape).
