hello #anarchism before i say anything lemme just say i am a BABY anarcho-communist from like 2 days ago so don't be mean to me. i'm currently still learning about it but i'm just ultra convinced by what i've read and seen so i decided to adopt the ideology. i make this post in search of chances to learn more

i know anarcho-communism advocates for the immediate abolition of the state but i think that's just super unrealistic. i agree it would be cool but practically that can't happen. communism can't be achieved like that

but i also think marxism-leninism and similar authoritarian "transitionary period" ideologies miss the mark because the state has too much power, including owning the means of production. i think ultimately if the point of anarchism is to take power away from the state then that can absolutely be done in a gradual manner, and i don't think that means it's not true anarchism

again ideologically yes the state should go away but currently i think it's impossible for that to just happen, and i think it's important to find ways to get there that aren't so unrealistic. we can have ideas and recognize that they aren't good in practice, then implement the next best thing

that being said like if the opportunity for true ideological anarchism presents itself and no one will get hurt then i would most definitely support that, i'm not saying it'd be bad. and hey maybe i'm wrong and it's entirely possible for that to happen
