Samsung utrzymał pozycję globalnego lidera rynku smartfonów w trzecim kwartale 2025 roku, ponownie wyprzedzając Apple.
Jak wynika z najnowszego raportu firmy analitycznej Omdia, walka na szczycie pozostaje jednak niezwykle wyrównana. Koreański producent zagarnął 19% udziału w rynku, podczas gdy firma z Cupertino depcze mu po piętach z udziałem na poziomie 18%.
To już drugi rok z rzędu, odkąd Samsung przejął w 2024 roku pozycję numer jeden. Dane za Q3 2025 (to dane za kwartał kalendarzowy, a nie fiskalny) pokazują, że obie firmy notują wzrosty, co potwierdza ożywienie na rynku po spadkach z 2023 roku. Samsung zwiększył swoje dostawy o 6% rok do roku (z 57,5 mln do 60,6 mln sztuk), natomiast Apple urosło w tym samym okresie o 4%.
Kluczową informacją jest to, co napędziło wzrost Samsunga. Zarówno raport Omdia, jak i niedawne podsumowanie wyników finansowych firmy wskazują, że choć seria Galaxy S25 była „umiarkowanie udana”, to prawdziwy wzrost został wygenerowany przez udaną premierę i silny popyt na drogie, składane modele – Galaxy Z Fold 7 i Galaxy Z Flip 7.
Sukces ten wyraźnie ośmielił Samsunga, który już przygotowuje się do kolejnego kroku w ewolucji składanych urządzeń. Firma niedawno po raz pierwszy publicznie zaprezentowała prototyp swojego potrójnie składanego smartfona (tzw. TriFold), który ma trafić na rynek jeszcze w tym roku, choć prawdopodobnie w bardzo limitowanej liczbie egzemplarzy.
