Dziś przypada rocznica urodzin Amédée Forestiera (ur. 30 września 1854), ilustratora znanego z realistycznych scen historycznych publikowanych m. in. w „The Illustrated London News”. Jego rekonstrukcje starożytnych światów stworzyły ikonografię epok, które oglądamy do dziś.
