#Movies . . .
Just finished listening/watching (more listening than watching) #Bugonia (2025) another 1 of the 10 movies nominated for Best Picture at the #Oscar awards ceremony tonight.
It's a bizarre #movie that won't win, which is similar to the odd ball #movie -- #PoorThings -- that #EmmaStone also starred in.
The movie is about this cray guy who kidnaps Emma Stone's character because he thinks she's an alien from outer space but it then turns out that the women is really from outer space. Really??? LOL!!! 🤦♂️
Anyway, it's a dumb movie which is why I listened to it more than I watch it.
Tried to watch the other 2 Best Picture nominees that I haven't seen yet but they're both foreign language films -- in whole or part -- but my #AltStreaming channel doesn't have the sub-title tracks. So, there's no point in my watching them unless I can find a channel that includes those tracks.
Not recommended unless you like this kind of thing. 🤷♂️

#AlexHonnold is the only person known to have climbed the 3000 ft face of #ElCapitan in #Yosemite #FreeSolo (without ropes &/or safety gear).
This climb was recorded in the documentary Free Solo (2018). I have a copy of it on DVD. It can be viewed for free on a least one #AltStreaming channel & for a fee on PPV/subscription channels.

So far, I've only seen:

Marty Supreme (AMC)
One Battle After Another (#AltStreaming)
#Frankenstein (Local Theater)
#FI (AMC)I already own copies of Sinners & F1 on DVD & I always try to buy a copy of the Best Picture winner each year too but that's sometimes been difficult, like for #Coma which is an #Apple movie.
At any rate, I currently have DVD copies of all of the Best Picture #Oscar winners going back to 1927/28 when #Wings won it.

I found #WinWin on an #AltStreaming channel.
Just watched the start to get a feel for it. It looks promising & I plan to finish watching it.
But haven't been able to find #CanneryRow offered for free viewing anywhere yet but, based on the #Wiki summary of it, I don't think I'll like it, even though I am a fan #Steinbeck's writing & own copies of most of his books.

I just need to learn how to download & burn #DVDs from these sites.

@nedraggett I didn't go to see it at my local #AMC & I'm not going to subscribe to pay to see it on #Disney either.
I'll watching for FREE on any #AltStreaming channel that has it BUT I am going to buy the #DVD if/when one is released because I want to have all 3 of the #Tron movies to make a set.

Wicked 2: For GoodOnly one more that I want to watch in the current crop:
"Now You See Me 3: Now You Don't" that I'm going to try to watch early on TG Day.
PS: Was interested in watching "Springsteen: Deliver Me From Nowhere" too but it's already gone from AMC. So, I'll have to watch it when it pops on an #AltStreaming channel.

But I didn't recall ever hearing about or seeing #Greeland1, which is not surprising because it was NEVER released theatrically.

Never heard of the movie "Eden" before. Just read about it on #Wiki. It's a perverse but reportedly true story. Probably won't like it but it's an oddity for a Ron Howard movie which makes me curious enough to want to take a look at it on an #AltStreaming channel.
