Revisando cosas de cuando era chico encontré mis walkman. El primero que tuve, un Casio AS-300R. Y uno que compré más de grande, AIWA HS-TA193.
La verdad que el CASIO era bastante mejor, con cambio de lado sin sacar el cassette. Aunque algo más grande.
Los fui a probar y el CASIO anda lo más bien. Debe tener como 33 años. Tremendo.
El pobre AIWA había quedado guardado con las pilas, un horror ahí adentro. Lo limpié lo mejor que pude pero no anda. -

Today I wrapped up clean and repair of this AIWA TP-32A portable tape recorder from 1960 that we found at an estate sale.
The original handset needs rewiring. I couldn't find a single working mic in my place with an 8th inch jack (several broken ones tho). I plugged in a Buddha Machine to test it out.
I also recorded the repair, working on putting that video together. Really interesting and deceptively simple device!
