#Kacsmaryk’s 2023 ruling would have removed the #medication from the market, but the #5thCircuit scaled it back. It was the first time a judge suspended longtime approval of a medication despite oppo from the #FDA & the manufacturer.

CW: Medibank AHM data retention
Medibank stated: "we are required by law to retain certain customer (including former customer) information for particular periods of time, generally for 7 years from when a customer leaves us."
I just got the AHM "your data has been stolen" email and I haven't been an AHM customer since June 2015.
Thus, #Medibank and #AHM have been keeping customer data longer than legally required, which has exposed former customers to extra and unnecessary risks.
