#Floods Following Torrential Rain in Central #Greece
On Tuesday morning, the water levels had risen by three meters placing the adjacent district of Agioi Anargyri at risk.
#Flooding was also reported in the villages of #Agria, #Portaria, #Tsangarada and #Stagiates.
The nearby #Sporades islands have also been hot by flooding and in particular #Skiathos island.

verdict:
this recipe is saltier than i prefer, but the bones of really flavorful latkes are definitely there. if i make them again, i’ll halve the salt, double the celery, and add more cayenne.
they’re also denser than others i’ve made - this isn’t a bad thing, but they’re definitely not light lacy latkes. i don’t know if that’s a product of the amount of egg, or the type of potato - i used #agria, which run to starchy and fry beautifully.
