Finished editing of pre-show behind the scenes footage that I took earlier this week. I so ❤️ our cast and everyone involved in the show!
It is incredibly exciting to see all the pieces coming together into a full blown 2 hour theatrical performance. Acting, lights, props, music, art... there are so many components to making things like this happen, and we have been incredibly lucky to receive help from so many talented people!

Was just watching a new playthrough video by Periphery https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rlGJf2Ta0LA and I realized that they filmed it at exactly the same location I did a photoshoot of rehearsal a couple of weeks ago!
It is not unlikely that they might have been there the same week, haha!

Today - a little sneak peak behind the scenes!
Hard to believe it, but the show is in less than 24 hours from now!

Went to a rehearsal today to take some pictures.
It is 1 day until the show, get your tickets while you still can if you are in LA!

And maybe a bit over the top music for serious moments.

This includes some completely silly tracks.

Current status: writing remaining music and SFX for the play!

I’m also helping a bit with the rehearsal photography so here are a few pics taken over the last week.
The square photo was taken with the anamorphic lens turned sideways ala Project Hail Mary style. I need to get used to the narrow framing, but shooting this way was very unusual and exciting!

You can also turn the LED at the cap on! I've used the translucent filament for that part specifically so it shines quite brightly through.
I feel like I've abused MatrixPortal M4 so much for this project since most popular uses were just for the screen showing time, weather, etc; and this is full blow REST service controlled robot with a few extra whistles.
The LED is a NeoPixel Jewel so I can actually "rotate" the lights 🤣
