Remember the balanced budget legislation known as the Growth and Financial Security Act?
Sadly neither do the politicians that passed it and then repealed it.
We have had had a real balanced budget in #sask since except by accident.
Why do we keep voting for these people?

The Process:
"two days of legislative sitting before a bill can receive first reading. If that passes, one full day between the second and third readings, and committee hearings. So, at least a week"
The only way this passes early is by unanimous consent.
Lets go...

Doubling up on the @RCMPSK Warrant Enforcement and Suppression team for $20m a year (plus startup $$) and answering only to the Minister.
In short, inefficient bureaucratic waste and unaccountable to the public.

How can we ensure our gov does not misuse our $$ for their own ends? By:
☑️Passing a Fair Advertising in Government Act
☑️Fully disclosing MLA budgets to allow for greater scrutiny of office and legislative expenditures
☑️Giving more power to the Provincial Auditor.

Exactly. It's about effective outcomes, not the $. Tossing it into general revenue to balance your budget won't cut it.

Since coming to power, they have taken in millions of dollars in corporate donations.
Numbered companies (ex. pic 1-2) are virtually untraceable. Many mailing addresses out of province (ex.pic 3).
