My workhorse Sony RX10 M4 camera, used for many years, stopped working during the New Zealand trip. So it was time for an upgrade: a Sony α6700, which I paired with a Tamron 18-300mm F/3.5-6.3 Di III-A VC VXD lens. Still getting used to it, but so far, it has performed to expectations. Now to exceed expectations. :-)

So I just picked up a new #a6700 after being “out” of photography since the 90’s. On one hand, I want to just go get a Sigma 17-49mm f1.8 (and sadly made of unobtainium at the moment) but on the other I’m tempted to pick of bargain primes as I find them. #photography #sonyalpha

One more day to go of #NightShift! Having a coffee now that I am home. So, other than that… I’ve been thinking about the #camera I wish to purchase. And have decided to go with an #Sony #A7RV instead of the #A6700. $2k price difference, but I don’t think I will regret it long-term.

Nach relativ wenigen Belichtungen reagierte der Auslöseknopf meiner kürzlich gekauften #Sony alpha 6700 nicht mehr korrekt. Halbauslösung zum Lichtmessen klappte wie gewohnt, aber zum Auslösen brauchte es unregelmäßig wesentlich mehr Druck als zur Überwindung des Druckpunktes nötig war. Nervig.
Bin gerade mit der #Kamera grün geworden und da musste ich sie auch schon zur Reparatur einsenden in der Hoffnung, dass sie nun vor dem Urlaub repariert wieder zurück sein wird. #fotografie #a6700
