VERY few outside those that have caught me around the Praxis Guitars workshop/studio would know......
far more than anything else, i listen to "ambient" (just totally beatless "music"... if one cares to call such "music").
Currently, there's this (timbre/sound) patch I made over a week ago now, and while I've had breaks from it, for literal hours at a time, all I've been listening to is a single, all be it evolving in timbre, sustained chord from it.
Working to it, reading to it, listening to lectures over it, going to sleep to it.....I do such A LOT....
Develop some timbre/sound, then simply hit a single note or chord, and then that's it....
I'm just listening to that single sustained sound for hours.... sometimes even days. -
