Somehow this poster made me think instead of John Colicos guest starring appearance, with Barry Morse (of Space 1999 fame) in the appalling 1973 ‘The Starlost’ episode ‘The Goddess Calabra.

How an episode credited to Ursula LeGuin, on a show conceived by Harlan Ellison and with Brian Aldiss as science consultant could be so truly bad is one of the enduring questions of this show.

It’s still a cult classic though.

    This is AWESOME!

While not that much more is said here by EPs Devlin and Glassner, the strong implication is that they’re expecting S3 to be greenlit, but also that they already have mapped much of it out…

“ Dean Devlin: To a very real degree, all of season 1 and all of season 2 is the pilot episode. That the actual series begins at the beginning of season 3, because the Arc is not just a lifeboat, it is a search and rescue vehicle, and now there's a new home to bring them to. But is the home everything they hope it is? Are there problems on this home that they don't know about?

And where are they going, and where are they finding people, and are they finding who they're supposed to find? Or are they having other kinds of adventures? Who are they bringing back to the planet? So now we have a show where it's going to be a lot less predictable than what we've done before. It can't be "disaster of the week," and we don't want it to be. It's really going to be a show where any kind of science fiction concept that we want to explore, we'll have a way to do it.”

Still working on setting up the chat group by the way. Will keep you posted but there should be news very soon I hope!

For all of you Star Trek, Stargate and classic Sci-fi TV fans who haven’t yet given The Ark a try, watch parties will be coming once the chat bot is working.

  9. I saw my first cybertruck in the wild while walking up 13th today. I was bummed I didn't have my camera ready, and I wondered if I'd see it again. Less than 10 minutes later, I laughed when I saw it while walking down 17th. I felt like I stumbled upon a low-budget 70s sci-fi movie set... that 100k thing is not for me... cyberNOPE!
