Just wanted to add that if a candidate is under the Democratic Party and the Working families party, vote under the Working Families part. Because of fusion voting in NY, votes under Dem/WFP are added together.
Also, due to former Governor Cuomo trying to kill the WFP, the following rule was created:
"In order to maintain qualified status, political parties must field candidates for governor or president in each gubernatorial or presidential election who win at least 2% of all votes cast for the office, or 130,000 votes, whichever is greater. In the event that a party's candidate fails to win the requisite votes, the party's voters are unenrolled, and the party must re-qualify."
Voting under the WFP line even when candidates are also the Dem nominees is an additional "fuck you" to Cuomo.

I'm a cis white dude living in the USA and in our society apparently my opinion has more weight. Obviously this isn't fair at all. So might as well use it.
To fellow cis people, especially liberals: this white cis dude is telling you to leave trans people alone especially for the midterms. Berating them because they won't vote for transphobes in the Dem party is remarkably ignorant and abusive. Instead, you should want to yell at the candidates to be less shitty - which you should have started to do before the primaries, to be honest.
Don't be the assholes who defend abusive powerful bigots just because they're in your party.
