Reading the final project updates from students in the #AI class, I'm struck by the fact that everyone who's working with an open model is using #mistral7b which wasn't even released until the first day of class this quarter. And so much will change, again, before I next teach this class.

@foundhistory @tillgrallert @ryancordell There's been #THATCamp since the official program ended, for sure. But I do wonder to what extent this is it for the field.
People are splitting apart, into #DataScience, #ISchool, cultural analytics, the TEI camp, the collections camp. What's the center of "DH" that will hold for a while longer? I think we do have some momentum around a shared core with ACH, but internationally (which is where I personally work), I'm much less certain.
