Der Vorschlag argumentiert, dass wir die Frage "was brauchen *wir*?" mit den Antworten auf die Frage "was haben *wir* zuhanden?" in Einklang bringen müssen, wenn wir die von @quinnanya als DiRT-Trap beschriebenen Fehler nicht wiederholen wollen.

How do we avoid another #convergence on the #Anglophone #hegemony and #ASCII in #multilingual and #multiscriptoral communities? This is particularly important if #mastodon is to become a viable forum for #critical, #global #DigitalHumanities / #HumanidadesDigitales / #HumanitésNumériques / #الانسانيات_الرقمية.

If you ever find yourself with days to spend in the ICU, bring that new craft you've not successfully made the time to figure out. The many hours of sitting and waiting are perfect for trying, failing, watching a video, untying knots, and trying again. Slowly working on tatting, myself. #DHmakes

I've learned not to fly with beads in a carry-on if I can help it, but today I discovered it takes 3 TSA agents including a manager to certify an inkle loom safe to fly. 😂 #DHmakes

I remember loving that this site existed, pointing students to it, and suggesting things (like the #MultilingualDH addition!) On the infrastructure side, there were clear, simple instructions on how to get started while I was still struggling to wrap my head around how Jekyll worked & liquid syntax.
