I did not think Loghain would agree to the Dark Ritual.

Oh for the love of god, what?
9:08 Dragon: Queen Rowan dies
The Calling is set in late 9:09 / early 9:10 and Alistair is born in 9:10.Also, Cailan was born in 9:05, therefore as the firstborn he would have still been heir.

Maker, am I feeling bad. Alistair marries Anora and Loghain is a Grey Warden. Which basically means Alistair doesn't talk to me anymore. 😭

A golem, a nightingale and two elves walk in to a bar...
-
Great. I arranged marriage between Alistair and Anora and I feel incredibly dirty. And somewhat like I betrayed my Cousland. Who is dead in this world state. 😭
-
Great. For some reason Vaughan is not in the Dungeon. There goes that point in the Landsmeet.
No, I did not kill him in the City Elf origin. I'm playing a mage.

Lots of new RPG games are coming out in early 2026, similar to the popular Elder Scrolls series. This is more than last year.

Me in 2009 found Oghren funny...
There are things I'm glad I grew out of. This is one of them.

"You are not all stone. I believe that inside of you is a person, Shale."
"If that is so, then because I ate them."😂😂😂
-
"This isn't over. Bhelen will still be king!"
How? He's dead.

Do you remember the first time you encountered the Broodmother?
I have to admit, I have a very morbid side who loves that body horror shit. Don't judge me. 🙈

First day, they come and catch everyone...

Asala, after they arrived in the Dead Trenches and saw the archdemon and the darkspawn horde with their own eyes:
"Uhm, Alistair, I don't want to sound overly pessimistic, but how are we," she points to the mess that is their group and continues, "suppose to stop THAT?" She points towards the marching horde below them. "Seriously? Just asking questions here, but what in Andraste's holy name are we supposed to do against THAT?"

🤔 Builds I'm following have the tactic setting Enemies: Surrounded by, but the tactics in my game don't have the setting. I installed Advanced Tactics, but it also doesn't have the setting.
I could've sworn I managed to solve that last time around, but do not remember how. And everything I find on the internet tells me that the option should show up with Advanced Tactics.

Read the news and are already at the point where I want to log out of life for the day. Let's continue in the Deep Roads.

I know most people hate the Fade, but I take the Fade over the Deep Roads any day.

I am thinking again about #DreadDelusion. And I think that people 30 years ago might have been able to build a game that looks just like this and plays just like this on the hardware from 30 years ago.
But I'm wondering if people 30 years ago could have even imagined that a game could be like this?
Final Fantasy 6 was already out 30 years ago, and Metal Gear Solid had already started development. But I feel this is a game that could only be conceptualized with decades of game history behind it. -

I don't like the new-type prove-you're-a-human questions, e.g.,
"What things make you wake up in a cold sweat at 3:25 am, #dread hanging on you like a mildewed blanket?
Where do the machines and algorithms get off thinking we're just going to volunteer our deepest fears? Nuh-uh, not me! Also, how about toning down the purple prose? A little lilac round the edges is ok, but that's full-on eggplant-purple.

Don't call it ugly Elder Scrolls! I've never played anything quite like Dread Delusion, and now it's on consoles you really should play it too
-
Dread Delusion is being released for consoles next week.

One of the most fascinating games I have ever played. It's a fairly small and simple game, but with some of the most compelling writing I've seen and surprisingly memorable characters.
