Award-winning songwriter and performer Alana Wilkinson is as equally comfortable in the intimate confines of a house concert or the expansive surroundings of a festival.
Her wit, humour and insightful social commentary have turned heads at a string of major festival appearances including Woodford, Queenscliff, Blue Mountains, Nannup, and Port Fairy, and with sold-out headline shows, and support slots for the likes of Daryl Braithwaite, Tim Freedman, Fanny Lumsden, Clare Bowditch, The Pierce Brothers and Kav Temperley.
She’s currently on a Festival of Small Halls tour with Scottish fiddler Ryan Young performing at such exotic venues as the Broke Community Hall at Broke, The Forge Theatre at Bairnsdale, and the Colac Otway Performing Arts and Cultural Centre.
On the tour Alana will be supporting Aussie rock legend Ross Wilson before heading to the US to showcase at Folk Alliance International.

Kann mir eine*r von Euch vielleicht eine gute #Rasierseife empfehlen? Ich habe bisher die Seife von #WilkinsonSword verwendet und bin mit der Seife selbst eigentlich auch sehr zufrieden. Lässt sich gut aufschäumen und der Schaum taugt. Allerdings kommt die Seife halt in einer Plastikverpackung. Das ist zwar einerseits praktisch weil so keine zusätzliche Schüssel zum Aufschäumen nötig ist aber einer der Hauptgründe für meinen Umstieg auf den Hobel ist es Plastikmüll zu vermeiden. Gerne Seife von einem Kleinunternehmen, gerne möglichst ohne Plastik verpackt, gerne wo anders bestellbar als bei Amazon. Störtebeker habe ich getestet, gefällt mir aber nicht gut.
