“It's safe to say that without Darwin and her unique voice, events like REEF and Abyss, and label SPE:C, subglow may never have been born. In the 2010s, Darwin spearheaded a unique place for soundsystem culture worship in Berlin, one that honored the music we love so dearly in a city that felt more like a musical monolith, she brought together different corners of the culture together under one roof and formed a unique community and sound. It's one that is incredibly nerdy, thoughtful, enthusiastic and has become a home to so many from all over the world. Her presence was hugely influential to the new wave of artists that since emerged, and Berlin feels like a place because of it. It's a huge honor to host a special recording from her on subglow today, a full circle moment. This set from Memori festival feels like a perfect encapsulation of what makes her one of the best DJs today, like watching a sci fi odyssey in high definition, cinematic and detailed, deeply psychedelic and moving.”

"This was recorded at the closing slot in the barn on Thursday night at Memori Festival. It was sweltering that weekend, and brave of anyone to endure, not only because it was the first night and went until 6am, but because it was quite the inferno inside ( ꩜ ᯅ ꩜;)
I spent a lot of time preparing and digging out my dankest nugs for this because I had heard so many great things about the festival, and I knew that I could go in quite deep with an audience who fares to the tripper side of things.
It was a little heartbreaking that not many people actually got in, with the small capacity and queues, because this was probably my favourite set I played all year. I’m really excited to get to share it now, and on Subglow, one of my favorite mix series ₊˚✧.ೃ࿔:･"
