While on maternity leave, I've been working my way through the Yellowstone TV series.
I've been really enjoying it.
Scratching an itch I've had since Longmire ended.

Last night , I finished replaying Death Stranding (Director's Cut this time round).
My heart broke numerous times during replaying the game, even though I knew what was coming.
Few other games have ever moved me this much.

CW: Brits need to write to their MPs ASAP to stop the Online Safety Bill
It's not safe for a single person living in Britain.
Incorporating levels of surveillance and censorship found in places like China or Russia, any "beneficial" elements are not worth it for the threat to everyone's privacy and online safety the Bill now poses.
So write to your MP before 5 December and tell them to oppose the Bill.

Waking up to some good news for once.
Lovely.
Though some disturbing results in the details.

As my husband put it as we were en route, "We're doing a democracy."
Voted. Hoping I have a new MP before the end of the week.

A US company is buying Goonhilly, here in #Cornwall.
Unsure how I feel about a US company buying an infrastructure company like that, in today's geopolitical climate.
Kinda seems like a bad idea for the UK.

Well, this is one of the grossest reads I've come across in a while 🤢
It's like something straight out of Mega City One. (And no one should be aspiring to make the world more like Judge Dredd's.)

Finally got to watch Sinners this evening.
Wanted to watch it last year in the cinema but missed my chance due to various reasons.
But, I treated myself to it on Blu-ray recently.
I hope it actually wins a bunch of its Academy Award nominations. I hope the predominantly white old men who vote on that stuff, actually realise it is gooooooood cinema and vote accordingly.

Massive blanket project is progressing.
All 280 stitches are now a lot easier to handle now that I'm doing stockinette stitch.
I'll be doing two rows grey, two rows blue until I get to a desired length. Then I'll do rib again in grey to finish plus two garter for the final two rows.
(This is the second big blanket like this I've worked on.)
