@ivory #FeatureRequest Could you make it so after a toot is posted, we can click the notification to be taken to it?
Always have to go find it after posting to make sure everything is correct, and a shortcut would be really convenient 🙏🏻

I like that #ivoryapp has the smoothest scrolling
I like that #icecubesapp supports fedi features sooner and loads custom emojis faster and MOST IMPORTANTLY supports animated emojis. But it doesn’t scroll well :blobcatfacepalm: maybe those things are related
At least we have a choice in apps and I get to support both, but I truly wish we got a little more cross-contamination of features.

@ivory #FeatureRequest: default Boost/Quote button behaviour
Could we please have an option to set our preferred default action when pressing the Boost button?
99 times out of 100, I’d rather boost and for the one time, I’m happy to long press to choose Quote, just as I am for the other items in that pop up (which I think was behaviour before Masto implemented quote posts, as I keep tapping that button and then sometimes have to come back and tap it and choose boost when I realise I hadn’t boosted).
And I get the tap popup even if I can’t quote due to poster’s preferences disallowing quoting!
Would appreciate your consideration on this.

Wow, wish I’d taught myself sooner. Just realized I can use #IvoryApp’s lists to contain people I want to read/follow, but not filling my main timeline. And Ivory included a splendid little toggle to automatically take anything that appears in a list out of the main timeline to avoid duplicates. No need to also create mutes.

So I had like several hundred unread toots, and I settled in on my desktop to catchup and started Ivory and BOOM! no unread toots. How do I get Ivory to not mark everything as read? #ivoryapp

“Cutler had a lighter, quieter, sparser approach to the weird, macabre and illogical than the majority of surrealists. The darkness is transmuted into mischief and the savagery into play. There is melancholy in some of the poems, even despair, but it tends to be counterbalanced by the charm and daftness.”
—Rhys Hughes on the sublime daftness of Ivor Cutler
