Google uses my SIM card to get my phone number and adds it to the data profile they've created on me.
Another reminder that #Google doesn't get #consent.
If you do not want Google to "obtain your number from your carrier" then follow these steps:
1: Stop the monitoring service by following the listed steps.
2: Remove the phone number(s) they have already retrieved.
3: Never trust Google to do what is right.
