Watching the #BigShort again. For some reason I really enjoy 2008 financial crisis movies.
I once bought a flat (2004 ish) on one of those adjustable rate mortgages. Thankfully I got out in time, but I was blissfully unaware any of this stuff was going on. I guess many people were because that’s how the financial system works.
It continues to be at the root of nearly everything that is wrong with the world at the moment (austerity etc) and it is good to be vigilant I guess. 🤣
