I have been reading more about real estate investing ever since I ran into lofty. This book has been surprisingly good:
The Real Book of Real Estate: Real Experts. Real Stories. Real Life. by Robert T. Kiyosak
https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/6348238-the-real-book-of-real-estate
Very gentle type intro of what's possible with real estate and what matters.
So far my take is that no book will get you 100% ready, there is nothing like taking action, but it sure helps to get the concepts down.

I decided to page through this classic, just to see how it feels after spending so much time in the markers. I still think it's a goodie and one of the better investment advice books for general population.

Without much hype and fluff, this #book is turning out to he an excellent overview of the generative ai space, written end of 2023. Enjoying it so far as it's helping put different concepts and terminology together in my head better. #nextread #generativeAI

I am still adjusting my software related goal setting to the AI age. I had a list of things I wanted to do for 2026 for my trading management site. I thought it was an easy list, not a stretch by any imagination, but still beefy enough that I figured it will be nice to take care of over the course of this year. Well, all the items on the list are done.... #ai #AIAge

Doncic is almost impossible to guard and can do whatever he wants type of player. If he ever decides to really get into shape, #NBA championship is his.
And congrats to Boston, really happy for Tatum, Brown, and especially Horford. It would have been a shame to see #Kyrie win there. Next year, go for it 😀

I love #betterment and use it in a significant way, but their repeated ventures into crypto is making me uneasy.

I don't feel too excited about this announcement from #betterment. They have been an excellent service that survived covid drops, post covid market mania, crypto bankruptcies, and bank contagion without any signs of trouble. Offering crypto portfolio seems very unnecessary:

#alphamales on Netflix is legit! So funny. It gets a bit too farsical at times, but overall very funny

First time in my life dealing with a leaking water heater even though I have owned some sort of property for over a decade now.
It was interesting to watch the industry that has formed around this one simple device. The quotes I was getting for a replacement were a bit nuts so I decided to see what it takes to replace it on my own. It's not bad at all. A pain in the ass to lug around 160lbs thing, but otherwise, can be done. This video was excellent:

Yesterday was my last day with #TDAmeritrade as they have migrated my account to Schwab as part of their acquisition process. Feels a bit like an end of an era. I remember hating fomo inducing UI elements in #Robinhood and switching to TD allowed me to cut out a lot of the noise. By no means is their interface great, but you can stay away from fomo stuff easily, blinking charts and switching tickers were not in your face and it felt much more calm.
It was a step forward into more pro world.

And another Friday evening with #TDAmeritrade API not returning proper data. Poor bastards running migrations and what not for the long weekend.
I should just stop doing end of day reviews on Fridays.

And another great #basketball game from USA women. France threw everything they had. From the crowd, to the defense but somehow US survived. Very impressive #olympic2024
And with that hopeful my sleep can go back to normal. I have been staying up and watching Olympic recordings every evening. Get all hyped up, right before bed. Not a good mix hehehe

Has this comparison been made yet?
That's how the #verified and #checkmark discussions look to me.
Some were dying for it, then were disgusted by it, others were disgusted by it, now are dying for it. hehehehe kind of funny
#Fediverse might be the cure, who knows, let's see!
