Sad to see #DabneyColeman passed away. I knew nothing of him personally, but I grew up watching him in films. The primary ones that spring to mind are WarGames, Cloak & Dagger (big fave as a kid), The Man with One Red Shoe (classic) and 9 to 5. For a time, it seemed like he was in everything and even when he was playing a jerk, there was something special about his portrayal.

Swapped by web server DNS entry to a new server & everything was resolving properly EXCEPT when it tried to use IPv6. To be clear, all IPv4 and IPv6 addresses had been updated on all the A/AAAA records and had propagated.
#UnboundDNS running under #OPNsense seemed to be returning the old IP and for some reason, switching to a public DNS server or disabling DNSSEC support on Unbound fixed it? How does that even happen? Still unclear on the why…

As much as I want to see the US #house_republicans elect a speaker and get back to work (fixing a crisis of their own making in the impending government shutdown), electing Jim Jordan will further cement that party as the party of no law and insurrection. He was involved in Trump's attempted coup, voted to reject legal election results & has been the face of the impeachment with a single fact against Biden.
He is completely unsuitable for the position…

I was listening to the latest episode of #Upgrade last night from #RelayFM & I wish that Upgrade & Myke were here, but I respect his decision on how he spends his time. I've tried the #Discord, but I am on many of them & have never really felt at home on one (maybe my fault as an introvert, even online, despite my best intentions). #Mastodon isn't home yet either, but it's getting better... bit by bit

@caseyliss I’ve had #Callsheet for almost a year, but I've only really used it on my iPhone. I recently bought an iPad Air 13 & was playing around with the app. I thought split-view with 2 instances of Callsheet might be interesting to compare casts between shows that share a lead, but opening 2 instances of Callsheet seem to mirror each other. They can't display 2 different shows? Not sure if it is human error on my part or a limitation of Callsheet? VERY happy with the app, but thought I'd ask

So, is Sony just trying to turn almost all the Spider-Man villains into heroes/anti-heroes? I know they've had tweaks over the years, but this seems to be going a bit too far in that direction between Venom, Morbius and Kraven. Maybe pick one to “hero-ize" and leave the rest as true villains with hopefully conflicted characters flaws/reasons (i.e. like a real person who isn't all evil and cartoonish)?
