  2. Roasting, while sitting on the sidelines, watching my younger son playing in the regional tournament for his soccer league. I’m dying, but at least I can probably guarantee I’m the only one wearing a shirt with Clarus on it - great design by @gedeonm

  9. I’m a SUPER Susan Kare fan. I have adored her whimsy since my formative early Mac days in the late ‘80s. I just finished a doormat with the Happy Mac and Clarus using a bitmap Chicago font.

Each “pixel” had to be 7.5 screen pixels and accordingly 7.5mm in physical dimensions to match a 7 count embroidery grid. Lots of trial and error here.

I printed the template and cut out the plastic grid “pixels” to match. Then colored in the pixels using a paint marker. #Macintosh #Clarus #DogCow #RetroComputing

  15. Last week I posted a set of old-school Apple icons from the first Macintosh OS by Susan Kare:

@chucker noted that Clarus, the “dogcow” icon, was back in macOS Ventura. While it’s a modern non-pixelated version, she has indeed made a return.
