I can't say I've ever noticed the mails from Amazon to this level, however thinking about Amazon keeping it's product mails purposely obtuse because it doesn't want Gmail/Gemini learning from them and providing a better experience

Been messing with #surf all weekend. I think the @theverge did a great job of describing what it’s all about / how it fits into the wider social web product space on the #Vergecast .
My biggest issue is knowing where a post has come from. I don’t know if I’m “liking” a Bluesky item, or a Mastodon one, and so on.
