  2. Marathon day!

    Went hard and pushed it, nailed my pace, started a bit too fast but then I had a buffer on the second half, fuck I’m happy with this :)

    High fives my wife and daughter! Feels great, I don’t think I left anything on the table, almost cramped up at 38km, that was scary, but eased up for a min and bounced back. I’m elated, also got 1000km on the year in this! #running #marathon #ottawaraceweekend

  7. Today’s recovery run was an experiment - 15 mins in the treadmill 7.1; 1.75 miles, and then 30 minutes on the elliptical 3.5 miles. Works out to something like 8.5ish km, pretty chill. I’m gonna go have a bath now.

  11. First run of the year earlier tonight. A 10 minute warmup and then 20 minutes 7.5, 15 minutes 7.8, 15 minutes 7.5. Not bad for the amount of sitting on floors I did in the past week and a half. This was probably as many or more steps than I took over the Christmas break :/ Feels good to be back.

    14.46 miles 23.14 km roughly. 145-160bpm heart rate through the session. 5 min warmup at 6 resist, 70rpm Stuck to the plan and then did 7 res at 75rpm more or less the whole time.

    First set powered off while I was trying to take a pic, 3.54, It’s not accurate anyways :/

    Turned out to be a decent workout since I don’t want to blow out my knees before the new year even starts. This is a decent alternative for easy long runs I guess. #running #elliptical #cardio
