When I see the pointer in her hand, I know it's treat time! Mom points to places & I hop up here and get a freeze dried piece of minnow 🐟. When she says"quit" training is over, she throws a treat away from her, and I run to find it. Cool game. I love this place♥️😻🐟 #TuxiCat #CatsOfMastodon #Cats

Week 4 of my #SlowCatIntro has begun. Still in stage 1 site & scent swapping, no eye/physical contact between me/Stevie. I've learned MANY things! 😸 I can sit on my shelf without door dashing near the kitchen; I can safely share my sanctuary room & the floor space with Daisy the dog without harassing her; I can use all the house#Catification except the #Catio; I can safely use the house space at night while Stevie is outside. Today is #Caturday. I had four 5:00 minute #ClickerTraining sessions to learn to hop up onto my new shelf near the kitchen door, instead of guarding or dashing. I get a *click* n treat when I go "up". I get another when I go up and "wait" for mom to go through n back out, rather than dashing in.

#MamaAndMe 🐶went out on #ZSHQ patrol/walk this morning. Saw lots 🌹of flowers, 🐿️ squirrels in droves, 🐇bunnies hopping everywhere 🐇! Back home, mama making about 5 lbs. of chimken pet food this morning. OMDog! We're all chimken crazed🐓 by the😋 aroma. Week 3 Update suffered another setback tonight when Stevie escaped into the house from his Catio. Devastated 😱😢 at the ensuing mayhem, screaming, & chasing. No physical injuries but clearly my boi (resident cat) was traumatized. He seemed to recover with support from his dad. #TabbyCat #TuxieCat #CatsOfMastodon -
