Svetlana Kana Radević (Cetinje, 21 de novembre de 1937 – Montenegro, 8 de novembre de 2000) va ser una arquitecta montenegrina. És considerada com a la primera arquitecta de Montenegro.

I struggled with the placement of the rifle on the back. Only when I was about to attach it did I notice the dimples for the corners of the magazine against the pouch and coat. They're very (very) subtle.

Preghiera per Černobyl’ di Svetlana Aleksievič
Descrizione: «Questo libro non parla di Černobyl’ in quanto tale, ma del suo mondo. Proprio di ciò che conosciamo meno. O quasi per niente. A interessarmi non era l’avvenimento in sé, vale a dire cosa era successo e per colpa di chi, bensì le impressioni, i sentimenti delle persone che hanno toccato con mano l’ignoto. Il mistero. Černobyl’ è un mistero che dobbiamo ancora risolvere… Questa è la ricostruzione non degli avvenimenti, ma dei sentimenti. Per tre anni ho viaggiato e fatto domande a persone di professioni, destini, generazioni e temperamenti diversi. Credenti e atei. Contadini e intellettuali. Černobyl’ è il principale contenuto del loro mondo. Esso ha avvelenato ogni cosa che hanno dentro, e anche attorno, e non solo l’acqua e la terra. Tutto il loro tempo. Questi uomini e queste donne sono stati i primi a vedere ciò che noi possiamo soltanto supporre… Più di una volta ho avuto l’impressione che in realtà io stessi annotando il futuro». Quando Aleksievič pubblica Preghiera per Černobyl’ è il 1997 e ormai sapevamo qual era stata la catena di eventi che aveva portato al peggior disastro nucleare della storia. Quello che rimane oscuro per Aleksievič, che per tre anni ha raccolto le testimonianze di persone coinvolte a vario titolo nel disastro, è il suo significato per la storia personale e collettiva delle popolazioni direttamente coinvolte, per l’Europa e – in definitiva – per tutta l’umanità.
Viviamo in un momento storico in cui non c’è bisogno di spiegare l’importanza di avere a disposizione una fonte di energia garantita, stabile nel tempo e a basso costo e nemmeno il fascino delle centrali nucleari, che sono sicure – sicurissime! – finché qualcosa non va storto. L’atomo è “buono” solo se riusciamo a tenerlo sotto controllo: l’essere umano è in grado di tenere sotto controllo la natura? Di prevedere e prevenire ogni possibile scenario negativo? La storia ci insegna ad abbassare la cresta e a curare i nostri deliri di onnipotenza.
Preghiera per Černobyl’ ci mette davanti un’umanità che ha dovuto affrontare le conseguenze di un disastro che ha il sapore amaro della hybris del mito classico: una tracotanza tutta umana che tracima e colpisce per generazioni milioni di persone. Le testimonianze raccolte da Aleksievič raccontano di un’umanità sgomenta davanti alle conseguenze del disastro cernobyliano e che ripensa stupefatta all’idealismo, al fatalismo e al senso del dovere di quei giorni. Alcunə pensano a quel passato con nostalgia, come all’ultimo momento felice e pregno di significato della loro vita; altrə vedono nel disastro solo la devastazione che ha portato nelle loro vite e in quelle deə loro carə; c’è anche chi, orfanə di un luogo da chiamare casa perché indesideratə ovunque, ha trovato a Černobyl’ una sorprendente libertà. Non mancano nemmeno le leggende metropolitane e le dicerie più strane: c’è sempre chi non è soddisfatto della verità e vuole una storia cucita su misura.
L’intervento dell’autrice nelle testimonianze è minimo e ne viene fuori un racconto corale e sfaccettato che è oltremodo prezioso per capire quale sia stato l’impatto di quel 26 aprile 1986 sulle persone comuni che erano state preparate a un attacco atomico, ma non a difendersi da un incidente nato in seno alla loro comunità.
