I’m off to the city to see a man about a #bass today. I’ll actually be auditioning a few Kays. I’ve been squeaking by for decades without a backup, and it finally caught up to me. My King is out of commission and on a long waiting list to get into the shop.
I need something for heavy gigging #Rockabilly #HonkyTonk #Bluegrass #WesternSwing and #Folk. I love the clack of a rosewood fingerboard, and I’m looking forward to having that option. Ebony fingerboards click (which I also love). #Basstodon

Weil ich grad mal wieder richtig Bock hab:
Bassist sucht Band! :BASS: Gerne (deutsch)Punk, HC o.ä. (kein Metall) oder auch guten Indiekram (Okkervil River, MountainGoats)... Bin auch Texter und hab grundsätzlich Bock (etwas) zu singen... Gründe auch was neues mit. Norddeutschland (idealerweise nördlich vom Kanal, bis Hamburg ginge sicher auch)

Been playing the four string more recently. There are some songs that just need the extra space between the strings (especially since I'm finally learning slap), and this thing resonates like nobody's business.

Falls mal jemand was hört oder jemanden kennt (der jemanden kennt): Ich suche langsam mal ganz locker wieder nach ner #band wäre ggfs auch bei ner Neugründung dabei! Ich spiel #Bass und schreibe Texte wenn nötig, gerne Richtung #Punk/ #hc , könnte mir auch sinnvollen Indiekram vorstellen, jedenfalls kein Metal... Hab an Sich auch Bock zu singen, aber das wäre dann eher bei Indie oder so, wenn ich laut werde klingts (in meinen Ohren) schnell nach Onkels und das will ja nun niemand...
Nördliches Schleswig-Holstein (südliches #danmark auch) wäre gut, Lübeck, notfalls Hamburg evtl...
Oh und würde gern 4 weiße cis-dudes vermeiden, glaube nicht, dass die Welt da noch mehr von braucht...
