CW: Medical steroid use, weight, food
Well I can see how you gain weight if you have to take steroids: 6 tablets 5 days (followed by building down gradually), all to be taken with food or milk. Not a big fan of a glass of milk so snax it is.
I haven’t had time to get hungry yet despite a good interval run in light frost this AM, that usually gives me the munchies.

Sitting right by a punting hot spot in #cambridge and I should open a window to catch more of what the guides are pinning on the tourists' sleeves and pass as local lore 😂

TFW you can introduce your mom to the Flemish metal classic “den afwas” (The Dishes) from Belgian Associality
Because den afwas is still standing there, tinkering with your peace of mind :eeveecoffee:

I did a bit of running this past year. Very slowly, but a lot of it. If you’re a runner already you’ll beat me easily. If you’re not, maybe you’ll feel inspired to get off the couch and beat this little 🐌

Back from my run - fortunately most of the rain had shaken out by the time I got to the river.
Ear isn’t bothersome when out and about on my own but OMG it sounds like I have central heating running on the left side of my head when it’s quiet indoors, and listening to music/conversation is :ablobcatbongocry:
Flute lesson will be “Can you hear how much better that was?” or “listen for X” with me “erm no. temporarily half deaf” all over again, won’t it? :abunhdcry:

Time for an #Introduction !
I am a Belgian (Flemish) scholar of #TangDynasty #history, used to teach all of #EastAsianHistory at a SLAC in PA, looking for a new job (non-academic).I love #knitting and #drawing and #running, #flute playing, and started reading #comics again after a long hiatus (recs welcome!). Would love to connect to writers, artists here.
Perfect day = cups of coffee and tea, noodling with pens and pencil, a long run, and feeding peanuts to squirrels while watching birds.
