Gears of War: E-Day releases for everyone today and I’m happy to announce I was a blind consultant for the game! I had so much fun playing Gears 5 when I first got my Series X and even from what I played when testing the game, Gears of War: E-Day is a huge step forward for blind accessibility in the franchise. I haven’t played the final product, but join me on my Twitch today at 4:00 PM PDT to experience the game together with me! I know the game technically came out on the 1st, but I’ve been busy and the 6th is when non-premium players get access to the game. A big thank you to everyone at Xbox and The Coalition that I had the pleasure of working with. Their efforts for blind accessibility were recognized several years ago and I hope the recognition continues for E-Day and this genre as a whole.
