The smoked coho turned out great. Apparently lots of brown sugar in the brine was the secret. We caught 3 more at Porlier Pass in a fog bank yesterday so more to smoke this week. Aquafit session this morning then prep the fish for smoking tomorrow. The’wun is the hul’q’umi’num’ word for coho #salmon. #pnw #indigenous #language #grateful #VancouverIsland
