Does anybody know what happened to SKIKK? https://www.skikk.eu/
I was just checking the hardware manufacturers list here and noticed that the website is down: https://codeberg.org/brejoc/AwesomeEurope

Julia is also a powerhouse for modern, concurrent applications.
Async development and distributed execution are first-class citizens, making it simple to scale your application across multiple cores or even machines. But keep in mind that Julia is already a very, very fast language. #concurrency #distributedcomputing

Wouldn’t moving to a very remote place, or maybe a boat solve many problems?

Since my kids are a bit older now, I gave #StarQuest which was called Space Crusade in English, a shot. And they like it. 🥳
If you think that looks awfully like Warhammer, then you are not wrong. It kind of played in the #Warhammer40k universe, but was defused a lot, so that you could sell it to kids in Germany back in the day. We played that a lot those many years ago! It was probably best that the we didn't have Warhammer 40k on our radar as kids. -
Got this as a present today. Boy, that was a long time ago.

Looks like China wants to have Taiwan sooner than later. That increases the chances of seeing blockades with no more chips coming from Taiwan and an unstable situation for the time to come. We are coming closer to #TheITCollapse again, because there still isn’t a significant enough chip production in the EU. We need hard- and software made and hosted in the EU.

Anybody's underaged kids using #quizlet here? In case you haven't noticed yet: They took away the possibility to manage learning sets with folders. To protect the kids…
That's of course bullshit and now for existing accounts there are folders you can't use anymore! Please consider opening up a support ticket with them, so that we can have this back! Please #boost for reach! Thanks!

Isn’t someone out there working on a modern version of #lispMachines?

Looks like others also looked into what to do with #TheITCollapse and what #bedrockOS to pick and what needs to be done to be prepared.

If the #EverGiven has shown us one thing, then it’s that today’s interconnectedness without buffers can be a huge weakness. It’s also not unthinkable that something like this could be done deliberately with trade wars on the rise. Let’s have #TheITCollapse as a #ThoughtExperiment. No new chips for several years. Your country starts chip production from scratch. But first they do dumpster diving for hardware. What would be your #bedrockOS? Something that scales well from embedded to datacenter!?

I'd like to mention that I'm currently not affiliated with any political party and especially not the #cdu. That's another guy with the same name. #Ruppichteroth is far away from where I'm living. I can't help you with that tripled property tax, but I assume this is just the first municipality doing something like that.
Stay calm and wait until the wealth from the super rich is trickling down to you again. 🫠

Maybe not everything is lost in #Java world. #Kotlin and #javalin in combination with #intercoolerjs is pretty nice!
