  1. Final result for now. Router and switches installed. Next up, designing parametrised SBC mounts. Maybe I can start that pi cluster.

  2. 3D printed racking solution works. Still dealing with some kinks around printing with abs, but I think its tuned in now. Might have to reprint the left half for a flush finish. But I have a better idea...

  3. Not sure where I spotted it but picked up Space Traders. Not much of a gamer these days but this game... It really is a playground for software engineering. I can't wait to see what else they add to the spec.

  4. Now the system does slow down when the CPU is under load, and as well optimised compiling Rust is, it does not help when it takes over while you actively work on your code.

    Now I have two of these boards. I was initially thinking of setting one up as a gitlab runner. However, if you managed to get shared storage between two systems, You could probably get by with one board for development, and a second compiling. A very mini cluster.

  6. So I dont really want to run ubuntu on my . had too many issues in the past. Debian is also supported but I got thinking. And as it turns out there is a community supported image of for the rock5b. Am I going nix finally?
