I get inside from the Friday night deck shenanigans and find them behaving. Of course, after I took this, they both jumped up and followed me into the kitchen and sat side by side, expecting treats. I had to oblige.

A couple years ago the 60s band The Ides Of March, best known for their song “Vehicle,” performed here at the local performing arts center and I went to take photos for the newspaper. One of the band’s members is Jim Peterik who wrote “Vehicle” and also wrote songs in the 80s as a member of the band Survivor. The band played some of those tunes that night along with this one Jim wrote for .38 Special.
