I just installed a #gadget that is supposed to block our cat flap when our cats invite 🐭 "friends" over to play or even stay for the night 😬
It has a little camera and works with #ImageRecognition. I have no idea though how it's actually going to block the flap. There is no mechanical connection or any indication that the devices talk to each other.
Neighbors confirmed that it works. So, now I'm waiting for them to come home and see what's happening 😅

quick review on #sureFlap [cat door with chip recognition and connected app] in combination with #zeroMouse [camera with AI image processing that scans a cat who wants to go inside from below and tests if it's carrying prey] - it's great. it's REALLY great. and expensive, too. but it just works and saves our asses right now, since there will live no one in the flat for some weeks and the cats at least are halfway happy...
