The Austrian Ministry of Education created this great online course about "Ada & #Zangemann - A Tale of Software, Skateboards, and Raspberry Ice Cream". Also as #OpenEducationalResources under #CreativeCommons CC-BY-SA.

Cool exercises they implemented there. Love to see that translated into other languages as well.

Yesterday afternoon Erika did the first reading of the Croatian Ada & #Zangemann book at #Dorscluc . Was great to see children afterwards painting Ada. The current translation, done by #HRopen can be found on https://git.fsfe.org/FSFE/ada-zangemann/src/branch/main/texts/Ada_Zangemann-hr.txt

At 16:40 today Erika from @fsfe will do a Croatian reading of Ada & #Zangemann at #Dorscluc . Unfortunately not in this room I discovered in the lunch break. ;)

I love FSFE because it is close to its volunteers and you really feel that you are not one of the many, but they care about you.

#Fediversepower : Anyone out here who has experience with converting movie files into the #DCP format? There are planned screenings of the "Ada & #Zangemann " movie in cinemas, but one requirement I read was that you need a DCP file. (I also saw https://dcpomatic.com/ but don't know anyone with experience how well that works.)

More people should realise how important #softwarefreedom is. I heard that #iPad don't have #calculator app. I was shocked.
Many people complaint about #bloatware when they bought new #androidphone.
These kind of things were everywhere—unfortunately, not many people realise this.

@kirschner I came up with a Music Blocks program to demonstrate Ada & Zangemann. WDYT?

I'm reading it for my son's class in a couple of days, and thought this would be a fun activity to do at the end. I'll work with the kids to remix the code as well, inviting them to exercise some freedoms.
