Va a estar un poco complicado porque los YWing siempre han tenido tradicionalmente como color de contraste el amarillo y quien haya pintado miniaturas sabe que aplicar un amarillo que salga como tú quieres es EL MAL y es Dificilísimo.
Pero no desesperemos antes de tiempo... lo que si que caerá casi 100% fijo es un lavado para resaltar todos esos recovecos que tiene este molde (en serio, para ser tan minusculo es increíble).

Todo en formato super reducido (la caja es de 15 cm). Tan reducido que las instrucciones están en la tapa de la caja para ahorrar volumen!
Eso si, los moldes tienen una calidad excepcional y viene hasta con una peana pequeñita.
Pero siendo todo TAN pequeño los detalles van a tener que ser a pincel casi todo, me da xD(imprimación y tal vez algo de preshadowing no).

He recibido una maqueta muy especial, una cuquitud de Star Wars: Un Y-Wing a escala super pequeñita de Bandai, que sacaron hace años y ahora están complicadísimos de encontrar.

I don't know who made these, they are plastic - but I picked them up from a local auction a couple of days ago for $5.00 US - which I felt was a heck of a good deal. The 2 smaller are on display stands, the bigger one isn't. They will make a good addition to my collection of star ships.

In my photographs the spaceship models are usually shown from some distance. The illusion of realism in closeups doesn't work that well when paired with real life backgrounds.
Closeups alone however, are kinda neat. I think.

Playing with various sorts of machinery in the garage, vehicles for many purposes.
You know, if I won the lottery (I don't play but if I did) I would probably spend some of it to have a big garage and make a 1:1 size replica of the X or the Y.

I had a long break not finishing any models since my youth. Two decades went by until this little 1/72 scale Y-wing came along.
This was the first of this new era of digital cameras and Photoshop or whathaveyou. I liked how this worked and bought another model. Then another… It happens easily.
Now, 13 years later, I still love to photograph my spaceships on snow.

The Y-wing is one of those things, it’s a spaceship I have done the most research on. This one is partially built using accurate donor parts from vintage model kits. These days you can find information on such things fairly easily but at the time it was, as I called it, pure pop culture archaeology.
Same location, different season, two variations of a theme.
