Jeff Bezos, owner of the Washington Post, was protective of that once great newspaper. Then something happened.
In 2019 Bezos divorced his wife MacKenzie Scott. Her values influenced him. Without her, Bezos seems to have lost interest in the Washington Post which appears to be self-destructing, most recently with the firing of 300 good people who worked there.
