⟦ Qualche giorno fa ho visto un annuncio di lavoro: “Cercasi escavatore da 40 tonnellate, compreso operatore, per lavori di demolizione nella Striscia di Gaza. Orario di lavoro dalle 7:00 alle 16:30, 6.000 shekel (1.790 $) al giorno.
Il carburante diesel è a carico dell'esercito”.

Mi sono chiesta perché avessi una sensazione di déjà vu e mi sono ricordato del documentario “Blue Box” sul Fondo Nazionale Ebraico.
La scena è del 1948, quando fu istituito il (primo) Comitato di Trasferimento, sulla scia del Piano di Partizione ONU

Nello #Yishuv, la comunità ebraica nella Palestina pre-statale, si discuteva su come impedire agli arabi di tornare nei loro villaggi, aiutarli a reinsediarsi altrove, insediare ebrei nelle comunità palestinesi e distruggere il maggior numero possibile di villaggi durante l'operazione militare. ⬇️2

On the strategic value of the massacre in Deir Yassin. The speaker is not apologetic. Admitting there was a massacre (something Zionist state historians still reject) and explaining it was not intentional. All the other firsthand descriptions seem to constitute evidence for on going #domicide.

The Palmach (1941-1498) was the "elite" fighting force of the #Yishuv, the Jewish community in Palestine during the British Mandate period and the precursor to the #IDF. The British trained the Palmach and during the 1936-1939 Palestinian revolt against British occupation and their policies to allow increased Jewish immigration to Palestine, the British security forces, including the Palmach, employed tactics such as detentions, house demolitions, and deportations to quell the uprising.
